My own journey
Hi! I’m Ann Sofie, and for as long as I can remember, I’ve struggled with self-worth and confidence. I was the introverted, highly sensitive one—the quiet observer, the overthinker. I let those labels define me for years, believing that was just who I was.
I spent seven years in my dream job at a fast-paced fashion brand, until one day, I felt something shift. I wasn’t unhappy, but I wasn’t lit up either. So I did something I never thought I would: I left. Not because I had to, but because I started listening to myself. Without a perfect plan, without certainty, but with the deep knowing that I needed change.
I stepped into the unknown, took a new job, entered a new industry, and went from being the one with all the answers to the one asking all the questions. It was uncomfortable, but it also proved something to me—I could land on my feet anywhere.
With more space in my life, I started to explore who I actually was, beyond my job and the roles I had played for so long. I reconnected with my creativity, moved my body in ways that felt good, and slowly, my confidence started to shift. Not because I “fixed” anything, but because I started showing up for myself differently. For the first time in years, I felt strong—inside and out.
from self-doubt to self-trust
But my journey started long before that. In 2013, I lost my father to cancer. He was my best friend, my anchor. During his illness, I poured myself into understanding health, nutrition, and how the choices we make impact our well-being. That moment shaped me. It made me realize that healing—whether physical, emotional, or mental—starts with awareness, connection, and the willingness to change.
In 2023, I made another big leap and moved to Bali. I left my job, sold my home, simplified my life, and followed a deep pull toward freedom, clarity, and alignment. I didn’t have all the answers, but I knew I was meant to create something meaningful.
Ever since I’ve been living a life of intention over obligation, trust over fear, and alignment over expectation.
I no longer make decisions based on what feels “safe” or what I think I should do. Instead, I follow what feels true.
I’ve built a life where clarity, creativity, and self-trust guide me. Where well-being isn’t something I check off a list, but something that flows naturally. Where I move, create, and live in a way that feels expansive, not restrictive.
And most importantly—I’ve learned that change doesn’t happen when you wait for the perfect moment. It happens when you decide to trust yourself.
That’s why I created Refreche Studio—to share what I’ve learned, to help others reconnect with themselves, and to show that you don’t have to have all the answers to take the first step.
Because the life you want isn’t found in a plan—it’s built in the moments you choose yourself.
